Inside Sales Representative
Established in 1981, SmartPros Ltd. is a leader in online and offline continuing education for professionals. SmartPros is a publicly traded company that provides services and content to its professional and corporate clients in a variety of media including Web, CD-ROM and video. Work from Monday thru Friday earning salary plus commission by pursuing new sales opportunities and maintain current accounts.
- Sells SmartPros's products to potential customers over the phone by making proactive outbound sales calls.
- Renews and upsells to current subscribers by cross-selling additional SmartPros products.
- Provide information and assistance to current and potential customers.
- Prepare, complete, sign, and distribute customer orders and renewals.
- Works with upper management to create and execute personal sales goals.
- Enhances product knowledge to heighten ability to respond to client needs and make recommendations.
- Stays abreast of market conditions and company goals by attending regular sales meetings.
Reports To: Senior VP Sales
- College Degree plus 1-2 years inside sales experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of personal computers in a business environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills required for interaction with clients, management and peers.
- Self-motivated with excellent written, telephone and verbal communication skills.
